The team of the Verkehrsschule Zug at the handover of the go-karts
(first from the left is Peter Syfrig, head of the SONNENBERG’s central services; fourth from the right is Sven Meier, president of the Verkehrsschule Zug)
Michael Schumacher, the Formula 1 world record holder, made his first passionate laps on a go-kart as a child, and just so are the children of the SONNENBERG now enthusiastically whizzing around the playground on new go-karts.
We owe our good fortune to the Verkehrsschule Zug, which sponsored go-karts for the children and young people of the SONNENBERG for the second time. Thank you very much for the four new go-karts and thank you for the laughter and joy glowing in the faces of the young go-kart drivers.
The Verkehrsschule Zug is not only spreading joy with these go-karts but practical knowledge as well since anyone who wants to drive a go-kart with us must first complete a theoretical and practical “driving school.” The children become highly motivated to learn these important skills when the fun of driving around the playground beckons. After passing the go-kart driving test, students aged 10 and older are allowed to drive the go-karts freely on the SONNENBERG grounds. The expansion of our go-kart fleet brought particular joy to our new location in Menzingen, where the children and young people now finally have a vehicle on site.
The Verkehrsschule Zug is an association of independent driving instructors who have been offering driving lessons in all vehicle categories in the canton of Zug for over 45 years and who donate one percent of the income from traffic lessons to charitable institutions every year. A very big thank you from all of us!
