CZV further training courses

The Chauffeur Admission Regulation (Chauffeurenzulassungsverordnung – CZV) regulates the licensing and training of drivers for the transport of goods and passengers. All professional drivers in the vehicle categories of C/C1 and D/D1 are therefore obliged to undergo further training courses.

Five days in five years

In Switzerland, a certificate of competence is mendatory for the transport of goods and passengers. For entry into the CZV, all holders of this certificate of competence are obliged to undergo further trainings. Even those who receive, or have already received, a certificate of competence without an examination must fulfill this mandatory additional education and course.

Within five years, you must attend five days at a institution certified by the ASA (Association of Road Traffic Offices). The additional training can be attended in day courses of seven hours each or as weekly courses.

The Verkehrsschule Zug offers training and further education in cooperation with our long-standing members, Markus Strickler and Beat Moos, CZV.
