Verkehrsschule Zug donates go-karts to the Zentrum Sonnberg
The Zentrum Sonnenberg received three new go-karts from the Verkehrsschule Zug yesterday. The vehicles have been tested immediately.
Yesterday the sun shone in a double sense of the word at the Sonnenberg institution in Baar. On the one hand, spring has made a short comeback, on the other hand, the Heilpädagogisches Schul- und Beratungszentrum Sonnenberg was richly presented with a gift by the Verkehrsschule Zug.
The Verkehrsschule Zug is an association of independent driving instructors. They have donated three brand new “Berg XL” Go-Karts to Sonnenberg with a value of around two thousand francs, thus doubling our Go-Kart fleet. Every year, the Verkehrsschule Zug donates one percent of its traffic school income to a charitable cause. The apprentices Adriano Russo, Elia Herzog and Sina Camenzind joyfully received the Go-Karts and put them into operation immediately. Their maneuvers, bypassing the traffic cone and slaloming backwards were so successful that some of the driving instructors dared to try them. One thing can be said:
The driving instructors are undoubtedly much more adept at handling their own vehicles.
An exam is mandatory to drive Go Karts
However, the students of the Zentrums Sonnenberg after all they have to pass a go-kart driving test. As soon as they successfully complete the test, they will even be provided with a driver’s license. With the driving license, students aged ten years and older are allowed to move freely with the go-karts on the grounds of the Sonnenberg near the Zug Cantonal Hospital. The students use the Go-Karts because of a very active recreational activities plan of the Sonnenberg Zentrum which is a very important concern. (red)
