Verkehrsschule Zug supports the Zuger Verkehrskadetten
Every year, the association of independent driving instructors donates a portion of its income from traffic lessons to charity. This year this amount is 1,000 Swiss francs.
“It is not self-evident that young people are actively involved in road safety in their free time and ensure the organisation of numerous events with their efforts,” says Sven Meier, President of the Verkehrsschule Zug. It is therefore all the more important for the Verkehrsschule Zug to support the commitment of the Zuger Verkehrskadetten.
The Zuger Verkehrskadetten are delighted with this financial support. “We can put the donation to good use, for example for the purchase of new operational material,” says association president Marc Meyer.
The Zuger Verkehrskadetten Department was founded in 1988 and is a department of the Swiss Traffic Cadet Association. The traffic cadets carry out numerous traffic service missions in Zug and thereby enable the safe execution of numerous events such as the Wings for Life World Run, Zytturm Triathlon, EVZ Matches, etc. Members are young people from the age of 12. At the outreaches and training events, they frequently meet driving students from the Verkehrsschule Zug, who are then allowed to learn the relevant hand signals “live”.
The Verkehrsschule Zug has been offering driving lessons in all vehicle categories for over 45 years. It is an association of independent driving instructors in the canton of Zug that has been donating a portion of its income from traffic lessons to charity for years.
