ZKF Mothers’ Aid receives generous donation from Verkehrsschule Zug

The Verkehrsschule Zug is an association of independent driving instructors which has been offering driving lessons in all vehicle categories in Canton Zug for over 45 years. For years they have donated 1% of their income from traffic instruction to a charitable cause. This year they will present the respectable sum of CHF 2’000.00 to the Mothers’ Aid of the Zuger Kantonalen Frauenbundes – ZKF. “Especially during economically difficult times, it is important to think of all those who have it even harder”, says Sven Meier, President of the Verkehrsschule Zug. This makes the president Margrit Ulrich and the management team of Mothers’ Aid, Brigitte Schaffner and Rosmarie Rütschi very happy. “This is a nice way to provide short term financial support”.

Strengthen, support, talk – these are the keywords of the Mothers’ Aid of the Zuger Kantonaler Frauenbund (ZKF), which since the beginning of the 1920s has been supporting women in a quick and unbureaucratic way which is close to their life. These are people who, mostly due to unforeseen events, have gotten into an emergency situation and who are offered a helping hand. Neither gender, religion nor nationality play a role for them. All single parents and families living in the Canton of Zug may submit a written application to the Zuger Kantonaler Frauenbund, Mothers’ Aid, Industriestrasse 9, 6300 Zug or by e-mail to: info@zkf.ch. “We are convinced that our donation will go to a competent and committed institution that will use it in a true-to-life, efficient and helpful way”, says Sven Meier on behalf of the whole team of the Verkehrsschule Zug.
